Musician and artist Thomas Fridrich was born in Washington, DC and raised in Annapolis, MD. After high school he received an AA degree in fine arts from Anne Arundel Community College and attended the University of Maryland in the fine arts program. Since 1986 he has studied drawing with renowned portrait artists Cedric and Joanette Egeli and illustrator Jose Perez; sculpture with Steve Perkins; painting with American Impressionist Henry Hensche and painting and drawing with former Maryland Hall artist-in-residence John Ebersberger. He is a member of the Maryland Federation of Art and paints in the traditional Plein Air style.
